NJMS believes that undergraduate research is the foundation of innovation and it strengthens the evidence-based practice in medicine. Recognition of students' research allows the young researchers to explore the effects of applying new thought processes and broadens the educational experience. To cater for the needs of young researchers, NJMS has started a separate section as "STUDENTS' CORNER". If the first author of a study is an undergraduate student, the article will be published under this section subjected to acceptance after the standard editorial process and peer review. Students are encouraged to submit their original research, audit, case report and letter to the editor. However, narrative reviews and editorials written by undergraduate students would not be accepted at NJMS.
