The surge in popularity of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS), commonly known as e-cigarettes or vaping devices, has become a matter of urgent concern for public health officials, clinicians, and researchers. While initially marketed as a safer alternative to traditional tobacco products, mounting evidence suggests that the rapid adoption of ENDS poses serious health risks, especially among the youth. This editorial highlights some of these pressing concerns, urging the medical community to prioritize research and advocacy to address the potential long-term consequences of ENDS use.
